tundrajax Posted August 22, 2018 Report Posted August 22, 2018 (edited) Just picked up this 1955 Plymouth plaza in Chicago and drove it 400 miles home she runs like and dream while getting 22mpg on the road trip home. Things that will need to be fixed is she pulls a little to the left, no carpet, 3 spots on rust on the whole car other than those it's a great car and a blast to drive. Plymouthy Adams Posted August 22, 2018 Report Posted August 22, 2018 sounds like you had a good adventure...many would not take a car this age 400 miles as first outing....congratulation... Quote
linus6948 Posted August 22, 2018 Report Posted August 22, 2018 Congratulations and best of luck with her, I would suggest changing out all the fluids from the radiator to the rear end so you know what you`ve got. I also agree that was one heck of a Road Trip, my guess is that you definitely had an Angel on your Shoulder. Quote
tundrajax Posted August 22, 2018 Author Report Posted August 22, 2018 I got receipts of all the work and parts from the guy I bought it from. All the fluids were changed 4 months ago, brakes redone on all 4 corners and a full tune up. Which is one if the reasons I decided to buy it and drive it home. I just knew she would make the trip home. Every 100 miles during the trip I would stop to let the car cool off and relax while doing some sightseeing myself. 1 Quote
