"With a auto" ???  Do you mean fluid drive ?  I think 1954 was the first year for the Truck-O-Matic.

Yea some type of a auto might be a fluid drive all I know it has a long bellhousing

B-2-B, long bell housing, and column shift (?)... Likely a Fluid drive with 3 speed unless someone has modified it.
