Guest Dodge Joe Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 Did Dodge trucks use a bumper jack, and if so where was it stored? Joe Quote
builtfercomfort Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 Hi - did you try posting this on the Pilot House forum? Some truck guys hang out there who would not see this post. Quote
Young Ed Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 The 39-47 trucks had a bottle jack. I think they just expected you to toss it behind or under the seat. Quote
Guest Dodge Joe Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 I did try to post this on the pilot house and got no response. Joe Quote
Merle Coggins Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Hey Joe, I don't remember seeing this post on the truck side, but it's a good question. I found a screw type jack and handle amungst a bunch of junk in the bed of my truck. It's too rusty to be of any use, but I wondered if it was original to the truck. Merle Quote
Guest Dodge Joe Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Merle, Thanks for the response. It was for a 60 Dodge truck. I know I don't belong, But this is the place for me. After all I have a flathead in the truck. As far as the jack, I ordered a owners manual for my truck. That should tell me about the jack. Sometimes the fog is a little thick out here, so you just ask...... Quote
