Stock wheel width and back spacing

I have a 1948 Plymouth Special DeLuxe coupe and the previous owner put after market wheels on it that are close to rubbing the fender what are the factory specs? Thanks in advance

Beaker welcome aboard.........see the thread below "49-51 Ford Rims on a 48 Dodge".......it might help a bit......I think the stock 1948 rims were 16" but may have been 15" and width was about 4.5" or 5" .......what size wheels & tyres are on the car at present?...................andyd

wheels of this era were predominately neutral in offset

'46 and '47 Plymouth used 6.00/15 tires and then went to 6.70/15 in 1948.

Typo, I'm sure. 46-47 use 6.50x16. 48, 6.70x15.
