Ward Duffield Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Hi Group Happy New Year! Can anyone provide suggestions for the best way to add an Overdrive lockout cable to my stock 1946 Plymouth? Thanks for advice or photos Ward Duffield Chilly Pine Plains, NY Quote
Young Ed Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 I have mine on a homemade bracket to the left of the steering column. That was about the only flat spot I could find. If you have less options installed I've seen one person put it in the chrome ignition switch/control panel but mine is full of heater controls. Quote
dpollo Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 I have installed them in several P15s on the ignition switch control panel as suggested above. Works great. Does not get confused with hood release. Quote

Also makes it tricky to route that cable through the firewall. Quote
hkestes41 Posted December 31, 2017 Report Posted December 31, 2017 As others have stated mine was installed in the switch panel below the center of the dash. Quote
