Cannuck
Hi again . On to my next problem ,I recently installed signal lights in my 48 dodge .I have them working but the front lights are very dim. They are a wagner 64 bulb,I wasn't sure if the bulb was the fault or a poor ground.I would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks
wldavis3
Cannuck You should be using #1154 bulb (or similar) which is a dual contact, dual off-set pin bulb. This means that you will have to replace the bulb sockets of the parking lights and change them from the factory single contact, dual pin bulb.
Cannuck
Thanks for your quick reply the Wagner 64 is a dual contact bulb I have already replaced the bulb sockets .The wagner 64 is a small bulb which I thought I needed for the front park light due to the fact that the original bulb was small . So i tried the larger bulbs from the rear park light and presto they worked fine . I will be ordering the larger bulbs tomorrow . I think they are the 1154 bulb. Thanks again
