Just returned from Auburn, Indiana where I attended the Hudson Hational car club meet. Follow the link for more pictures. The kid in front of Doc Hudson is my grandson KI. He really enjoyed the show and got to sit in a race car. Lisa and I brought Ki and his sister Lila home with us for a week or so. I have never seen so many Hudson automobiles in one place before. Had a great time.

Don......great pics. Hudsons are pretty darn cool. Looks like Ki had fun too.

People associate the boat tail style with Auburn and other high dollar makes, but, as your picture shows, even Hudson made a boattail back when.

I wonder how many of these wagons were made? You sure don't see them at shows around here.

There are some rare and beautiful cars there, Don. I've never seen a Hudson woodie wagon...until now.

Ki looks like he's having a blast with Grampa and the cars.

Don, what is the story on this Hudson? I see "Italia" on the front? h4.jpg

Eric

Eric;

This is an Italian bodied Hudson. As I understand it this car and a few others were built as a last ditch effort to save the company. Too bad they failed.
