Removing Oil Filler Tube

How does the oil filler tube come off of a flat head?  It's right in the way of a freeze plug.

It is just a slight press fit.

Take a wood block and pull up while hitting somewhat gently all arrond the tube. Rocking it in, out front to back it almost always comes out.

Thanks. I thought that maybe it was press fit.

If it is too loose after installation, tap the end on the horn of an anvil to open up the diameter...or use a large crescent wrench
