I have a 1948 plymouth 2dr deluxe...  it was hit in the front and i am looking for front fenders, front grille, all chrome.. both bumper and i could use a better set of rear fenders

I am about to buy a 1948 4dr special deluxe (or Deluxe) tommorrow

my question  is....

will the rear fenders fit

will the front fenders fit

will the hood fit

are the front doors the same? (i need that chrome)

is the side chrome different? longer maybe?

*** from the pictures it looks like, the fenders, front hood, grille, inner fenders should all be the same, the chrome trim looks to be the same, and the rear fenders also look like they will fit

If you have a two door and it is a 4 door parts car....the side chrome will not be the same as yours due to the doors length  good for the rest though.....fenders...bumpers...hood.... grille...

hope you got the the person that hit your car to understand the cost of getting replacement parts and that their insurance company is not trying to total the car becasue it does not have any real blue book value.  ALso do you have your car insured with a collector car insurance carrier such as Taylot, Grundy Congdon and Skelly.

Make sure that you have also contacted them if the car was hit by another driver, best to keep them in the loop.
