Hey guys, would you say a 3/16" fuel line between the fuel pump and carb is too small for a stick 230? The inlet fitting in my 'new' Stromberg BXVD3 seems to be made for a 3/16 line with a bubble flare.

No,but if that bothers you,you can always run a reducer between the fuel pump and the carb to make things fit.

I just went through this myself. The proper size from the pump to the carb is 5/16", with the carter ball and ball. I bet it would be the same with the stromberg also.

With mine, all the male brass fittings that screw into the carb, fuel filter, fuel pump are the same 3/8" O.D. thread, the female end is larger and accepts the 5/16" .

Probably be easier to keep it all the same.
