P15-D24 Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 In addition to the removing the Shows, Events and Other Announcements forum at the end of September (replaced by the new Community Calendar) I'm going to also close the DPETCA section and merge the threads into the truck forum. That forum, like DPETCA, is dormant and I think it confuses new members as to where to post new truck questions. In case you didn't notice we have restored additional features back to the site. The Links directory is back online, the reference and technical articles are restored. The Member Map is now available for updating. I'm going to discontinue the Member Assist function because of lack of participation. (I think the had a total of 5-6 entries after 3 plus years) Lastly you may have noticed Question format is gone and back to the standard discussion format. Primary reason for this change is it interfered with Google Ads working correctly and since Google Ads pays the bills I didn't have a choice, We will be moving to an updated server early October which will result in a short downtime for the change over. 1 Quote
48Dodger Posted September 21, 2016 Report Posted September 21, 2016 Glad the question format is gone.....happy to see things feeling a bit more normal. lol. I updated the sticky post about the "forum vs the club". Hope it helps with some of the confusion. When the DPETCA forum goes away, the sticky should go as well. IMO I understand files from the DPETCA site are being downloaded to the tech files... but which ones? I'm guessing the knowledge section? 48D Quote

I'm guessing the knowledge section? Pretty much any reference info and articles. Problem I'm having is a lot of items are loaded inside a "reader" application and it is difficult to get the actual file in a suitable resolution. Quote
