Evening Gentlemen,

I ordered rear shocks for my P-15.  This is what arrived.  Are coil-over shock advantageous?  Should I install them?

Thank you!

Best,

Dave

Is your rear end dragging? Do you have a lotta junk in the trunk? Are your back seat passengers a bit stout? Are your headlights pointed up into the trees? Are you towing a trailer? Got a 50 gallon moonshine tank? Where did you find those? What make and if I may be so bold, ask the price?

I ask because my rear springs are a little saggy. When I

I look at my car the wheel opening is at the level of the top of the wheel. I notice in pics of other cars the seem to show a bit of tire at the top.

Looked at some for the '49. With no loads, trailer, or moon, was reluctant to create a stiffer ride. Or push up the rear too high. Monroe 58567, $75-85/pr.  If you use them, please do a before & after pix, and advise of the ride.

Thank you gentlemen for your input and advice.

Greg G---I purchased the coil over shocks at Advance Automotive.  There are two numbers associated with the shocks.  First 58567 and 19710829.  The cost was $88.00 a pair.

I am going to return them and purchase another set from elsewhere.  I am concerned it will stiffen the ride.  Plus I no longer carry the 50 gallon moonshine tank or dead bodies in the trunk. :)
