Rebuild the engine, disc brakes, new wiring, maybe tires, and . . . . not too bad.  IMHO

I also think I might like what looks like a Valiant drag car with wide rear tires in the background. Those things and the other 61-62 Mopars put the "ugh" in ugly,but they had some drivetrains that sure made them beautiful when they left the line.

It's very tempting to toss the Plymouth and put my 218 and OD in this Dodge. At $3,000 it might be a good deal.

The car is about 40 miles from me. The knock in the engine could mean a bad crank, so to me the car has no engine. I asked if he would take $2,000 to see if he would go $3,000 but he did not. That was good news, I really do not need another vehicle.
