Bobacuda
Ed - The 5.5" outside width rims were the original ones on my B4B. I bought the truck in 1975 from the estate of the original owner and it had not moved 5 yrs before I bought it. As a kid at a gas station, I fixed flats on it starting about 1965. I'm as certain as I can be that these are the original rims. BTW, the four rims that were pretty much always in use had rusted out barrels - especially by the valve stem. The Wheelsmith fixed those 4. All I did to the spare rim was blast it and paint it. If you go to the photo at the bottom of page 2 on this topic, you will see the spare rim with a tape measure on it. (Oops. I misread your post and thought you meant my rims, not Glenn's.) Glenn - Go to the topic "Let's see pictures of your truck." There are more photos of my truck near the end of that topic. Also check out "The big jigsaw puzzle is back together" (or something like that). I am lucky that there were no horrific dents or rust issues. Due to kids finishing college and a couple of hold ups with the body guy, I have about 5 yrs in the rebuild. If everything had gone as plan, would have been 2 yrs tops. First time I've tackled a project of this size. Bob Edited June 9, 2016 by Bobacuda

Stock
On 4/15/2016 at 9:41 PM, JPP said: Ok, I am getting my B2B close to road worthiness, I have decided to swap out my existing stock wheels and poor tires for some modern wheels and tires while I refurb my stock wheels and get the hub caps. So while cruising ebay and craig'slist, what am I looking for? I want the tires and wheels to look close on the size perspective to the stock wheels. So what am I looking for? I see a lot of references to jeep parts and dodge dakota's. I don't speak wheels and tires, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I have today. Did you swap out your wheels? I'm looking for a 15 wheel for my spare on my 1950 B2.
