Greg F Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Not sure if its ok to give props to a certain company on here, but am very happy with the work "The Clock Works" did on a P-15 clock I bought on EBay. It was in pretty rough shape, but $99 and a week and a half later, it looks great(Also converted to 12V). Been looking a long time for a clock for the old girl, and finally got one! knuckleharley Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Is it just me,or does the screw you use to set the time rustier than it was when you sent the clock in for repair? For 99 bucks you would think they would have rechromed trim on hand to use as replacement parts. Quote
Greg F Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Just looks like it in the picture, came out beautiful. Now time for "Dottie" to go into the paint booth, just can't decide what color to paint her(too many choices). Quote
Labrauer Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 Greg that looks great. Looks like new. Wish I had one for my Plymouth but all that I have come across on e bay and other sites the people want your house and kids to purchase. Maybe one day I'll have some luck in finding one. Quote
48ply1stcar Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 Looks great, just don't stare it while driving. Save that for your I-phone. Quote

The Clock Works will probably sell you a rebuilt one outright. It will cost more up front, but at least you would save on one shipping charge and you would have a clock that works right off the bat. They MIGHT even offer the option of electric powered instead of wind-up,and maybe even 12V if you go that way. Doesn't hurt to ask to see what your options are before you spend your money. Quote
rb1949 Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Assuming you did not have the original 'optional' clock? Those without had a blank plate to cover the hole. (Now sell your blank). Clocks, and radios, are items that would be nice to see in working condition, but for me, are not near the top of the investment list. But it does look nice. Quote
