CowboyConnor Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Looking to purchase a Pertronix distributor soon but am needing some guidance. I have a 50 Special Deluxe and cannot figure out which distributor to order considering Pertronix has a bunch of different 6v +ground systems. Quote
suntennis Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 If you are talking about their unit to install in your distributor, they will have one for your car. Contact them and provide them with the model number of your distributor and they will tell you what unit to buy. 1 Quote
dpollo Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 1950 was a change year for distributors. Early production used the IGS identified by its bigger cap and counterweighted rotor used from about 39 to mid 50 Later production used the IAT smaller cap non weighted rotor same up to 59 and beyond Quote
Powerhouse Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) They have a nice search function. I still cant find for a IGS-4101 though. http://www.pertronix.com/support/ignitor-kit/ seems like chryslers are 2563LS and Plymouths are 1362 Edited April 22, 2016 by Powerhouse Quote
Jeff Balazs Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 Give their Tech group a call. Web sites are not always up to date on stuff like this. Jeff Quote
