I took off all doors on my 1948 Dodge town sedan and im having a problem aligning them.

How do you adjust them, I need help

did you remove the hinges from the recesses?  IF not it is simply a matter of aligning the door in the opening with even gap.  did you have to replace rockers, floor or other metal in the vicinity...if so was this done with the doors off...I never recommend metal repair with the doors off...too much chance of shifting and you have nothing to gauge or correct by with the doors removed....they are you best all around go no gauge..

to help with the alignment..remove the striker on the post...will eliminate the interference of this and take the aggravation of latching/unlatching from the equation...the book had a good section on body alignments...read this section again...
