Don Coatney Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 And, do you know what that little round pedal is for? Trailer brake? Quote
Young Ed Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Its the pump for the window washers. I have one in my parts. Quote
55 Fargo Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Hey Bob, I know someone with a 47 Chrysler.LOL Fred Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 3, 2007 Author Report Posted July 3, 2007 Yeah, Fred, I thought you might find that label a little interesting. It's attached to the back end of the glove box.... Quote
eric wissing Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 They don't really get too specific do they? "moderate speeds" for the "first few hundred miles". So what is the button for? Trunk Monkey? I would check the trunk for a skeleton, he might have run off when he saw the tomato cages. Cool car. Eric Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 3, 2007 Author Report Posted July 3, 2007 The "Jiffy Jet" windshield washer system. Step on pedal....spritz windshield. The bottle. Is that an octupus under the hood??? Nope, just heater hoses. Where it goes thru the windshield. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Have the same thing on my 48 Dodge only what you see is all thats left, no other parts for it. Always thought it was funny how the owner added this but not a radio. Maybe it was the dual heaters that stopped him from ordering a radio, who knows. Quote
Young Ed Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Ed I have a pump and nothing else. Couple more guys and maybe we'd have 1 complete system. Quote
Guest airbikebill Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 I still have the break-in label in my 39 Plymouth glove box, it says not to drive over 35mph for the first 500 miles. I'll try to post a pic later. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 4, 2007 Author Report Posted July 4, 2007 If anyone wants a copy of that label, just transfer the pic to an editor and fill in the missing chunks with paint program. Then print it. Sounds as if that should work, but Im no expert. Or print it off as is, do some first hand repair work as needed, then make a new one on a copier or scanner. Quote
Guest jtw3749c Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Hey Bob T Took a little time and did up a complete new Break in instruction sheet. Course not knowing the size I may be off on the size. I can't upload it because it to big Will see if I can get it down sized. It's a pdf file. Will try something. Quote
Guest jtw3749c Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Break in speed label dressed up just a bit. If you click on it to view and then click on File and then Print Preview it will show you what size it is, which is to small, but increase the size and maybe it will be close. Then print it and trim it after you print. At a distance, nobody will be the wiser. Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Just noticed this Crashler has an 8 volt battery. Quote
