I'm at the point where I need to start welding up holes, made by PO's,  on the firewall.  I could use a photo that shows which holes are factory if anyone has one.

what specific year and model....what options do you have/using for the heater?  basically, any hole you are not using going back together would be subject to a hole plug or welding..

I'm not at the point of putting it back together.  I'm at the point of doing bodywork/primer then paint.  If I wait until I am putting it back together I'd be welding on a painted firewall. 47 dodge 3 window coupe.  I know about the two for the heater, I'm mostly wondering about the small holes that had or will have wires through them. Thanks Don.  I'll see what I can make out from your photo.

There are some holes on my P15 firewall where sawtooth type fasteners come thru from the inside---they hold the insulation and the cardboard inner covering to the inside of the firewall. There is also a hole for the drain hose that goes to the cowl vent. Plus some others

1948   D24 pics.

Will look for some more. Over 10K pics on my computer. Sometimes takes a while to locate specific ones.

Edit: single heater vehicle.
