Hey guys. Trying to make decision on 47 d24 my  wife bought. Rockers are totally gone where the body mounts to frame as are most of the body mounts .Front floor sections was replaced by some other  owner with flat sheet metal. Are there replacement inner structures made , I know they could be replicated with right tools and experience. She loves the car but it is wearing me out keeping it on the road. She loves the car and doesn't want me hot rodding it with later model power and suspension as our two other rods are. P.S. the doors aren't sagging yet but I am surprised .I  will try to get some pictures later this week. Thanks.

the body mount that are the sections that bolts to the frame ears are actually one piece units that cross the entire floor pan in form of a support/brace.  The floor pan metal. this brace and the inner rocker where it attaches all must be solid.  The inner rockers are simple bends, the outer sections of the rocker...watch the profile close..no one makes the "J" as the factory did but will get you close.  Depending on your metal fabrication skills you can repair the cross ties..approx. 14 gauge metal and are available in pre-bent end chunks for this purpose.  The frame ears are usually pretty solid but have seen them rotted on a few cars also.  Rear and forward are welded in place, the others bolt depending on the body itself..you will find a set of holes somewhere not being used..pay this no mind.  There are other suppliers that the aforementioned and depending again on your skill, space and tool access only you can decide what level of repair you can exact and whom to buy from.  Ask yourself one most serious important question.how do you intend to use the car, build from that answer.

you can buy the rockers and floorpans premade.    http://www.theplymouthdoctor.com/ click on catalogs then click on the 5th one down.

Can you still get stuff there? Wasn't there just a rant about that vendor not being available, or unresponsive?

There are other sources for those parts.

It's a lot of work for sure; I've put complete floor pans in two of these old mopars. Have you checked ebay? I did my 51 about three years ago and at the time someone on ebay was selling them in quarter section. I ended up building my own but the ones I saw were fairly reasonable. Also, Rock Auto used to sell the outer rockers just a couple of years ago; they probably still have them.
