38plymouth Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 I just found a six inch long brown strap laying underneath my car. It is a flat woven type and it looked like it had eyes on the end but they're both rotten off and gone. I'm not sure where it came from because I was using my leaf blower to blow under the car when I found it. I looked all over and can't figure out where it went any ideas? Quote
46Ply Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Sounds like one of those static discharge straps you used to see hanging under a car touching the ground.?? Quote
38plymouth Posted June 4, 2015 Author Report Posted June 4, 2015 It's definitely not one of those it looks similar to the one that would be on a firewall going to an engine block but its smaller. I'm thinking it probably went from the frame to the body somewhere in the back but I just can't seem to locate it. Quote
TodFitch Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Could it be an old battery to transmission ground strap that was replaced but left sitting on the frame and finally fell off? Quote
