sawdustjon Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 I am trying to replace the temp gauge on my 48 Plymouth Deluxe. The manual says to get things out of your way and remove the screws holding it in place. I've had my head up there and can not find any screws to remove . any suggestions ? Quote
Don Coatney Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 There are 2 screws holding it in place as seen in these photos. Quote

sawdustjon Posted April 13, 2015 Author Report Posted April 13, 2015 THANK YOU ! ! Don Coatney for the pix and info on how to get my temp gauge out. Was just like you explained, once I got the radio out of the way. THANKS AGAIN !! Quote
wdoland Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 You've "had your head up there" made me giggle. I've been told that many times myself. Quote
soth122003 Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 It is amazing how much space you get to work with up there by pulling the radio out. Joe Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 As I recall, you have to kind of gingerly jiggle and juggle the guage to get it out of/or into the opening. The kind of stiff cable doesn't help matters any.....but I have done it. There is a tutorial somewhere in the info on this site about repairing a temp guage........ Good luck and be patient. Quote
