I am trying to replace the temp gauge on my 48 Plymouth Deluxe. The manual says to get things out of your way and remove the screws holding it in place.  I've had my head up there and can not find any screws to remove .  any suggestions ?

THANK YOU  ! !  Don Coatney for the pix and info on how to get my temp gauge out.  Was just like you explained, once I got the radio out of the way.  THANKS  AGAIN  !!

As I recall, you have to kind of gingerly jiggle and juggle the guage to get it out of/or into the opening.

The kind of stiff cable doesn't help matters any.....but I have done it.

There is a tutorial somewhere in the info on this site about repairing a temp guage........

Good luck and be patient.
