Purebred red neck, dont care if its off a toyota.. if it fits it works. Quote

rustytrusty47 Posted February 22, 2015 Author Report Posted February 22, 2015 How many times do you plan on replacing the tie rod ends? Shel_ny, once or twice.. But not looking to tap into my grand kids college fund for old bulky tierod ends when i can go to autozone and buy one off another car/truck that fits.. Not sure where this is going but i've already seen many use ford brakes and rearends on these plymouths. The picture is to find alternatives to our cars.. Here i hope this clears somethings: I had a 2002 Jaguar xtype car a few years ago, try and buy jaguar parts at autozone, none there!, but many dont know that the jaguar engine is the same in a Lincoln LS and theres tons of parts in autozone if you say Lincoln..cheaper tooo Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Seems like Motors Repair Manual (or one similar) tells what parts will cross between various makes of cars. It is true that certain part numbers may fit a Plymouth, a Nash and a Ford.....or some such group of car brands.....if you only can find the info. Quote
