Niel Hoback Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 Today at Rosner Volvo in Fredericksburg, VA. I lacked the guts to ask the price. Part the first. Quote
austinsailor Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 A local collector has a '46 about like this. It's not quite as nice, close, but not quite. Of course, it is original, never restored. I'll have to get a picture next time I see it. They borrowed my brake adjusting tools to put new brakes on it recently. Quote
Ulu Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 That's mighty purty,...and way outta my price range. Maybe the top mechanism might have a worn/loose hinge though. Seems like it should lie flatter above the side windows. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 The top frame and weatherstripping sits correct on the side windows. The center top bows are curved upwards a bit too much and also the top might have been cut narrow. A nice car though. They are my favorite cars. Know them well. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted December 5, 2014 Author Report Posted December 5, 2014 I think you are right about the top being too narrow. There was a gap at the top of the corner of the vent window you could stick your finger through. But I would still take it for free. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Found this one on the net in Mineola, NY............Only $110,000 Quote
