PG&E is our power co.

Dad had a Desert water bag, when I was a kid. They work well.

It hung from the front of this :

They only work well in dry desert climates.

Which is the one place you'll really need one.

We took a lot of Scout trips into the old ghost towns of Arizona & our water was carried in plastic Chlorox jugs.

You pour a jug into the bag, hang it on the front bumper, drive in 100 deg heat at moderate speeds for a few miles, and the evaporation makes the water quite cold.

We had one for the tractors and the combines in Western Nebraska. Also would put a thick wrap on a croc jug with burlap, soak the burlap and have cool water all afternoon. I found the one in the first picture in Maine. It was a long way from home.
