ssnowden
We spent an enjoyable morning at the Studebaker museum in South Bend Indiana. It was good to see so many of them, but I was hoping to see more trucks. They only had a couple, but both were really nice. https://plus.google.com/photos/107394537078274784684/albums/6073729496487264913 This was my daughter's favorite.

greg g
That convert was on a turntable in the front of the building when we visited. Looked nice turning around under the lights, but closer inspection showed it to be a 50/50 car. Looks can be deceiving 50 feet away at 50 mph. One rear quarter looked like a pond in a breeze, and panel gaps were not good. Maybe the fixed it since then. Probably a low production car with not many left, but there must be a better one for the museum somewhere. Still the museum is a good visit. And don't forget to visit the Oliver (of farm implement and tractor manufacturing fame) house nearby.
ssnowden
You're right. Selling plows was very good to the Olivers. Money was no object when they built this thing. It was like stepping back in time. They left everything just as it was when it was built in the 1800's (with a remodel in the 1930's), including furniture and even their clothes to the local historical preservation group.
