Where to find a Thermostat Spring for a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe (P-18)

I was trying to reset the Thermostat Spring for the Manifold Heat Control today but once I got the assembly apart, it decided to disintegrate in my hands.  I’ve already placed a WANTED post, but was wondering if anyone knows where I could find one online? I’ve ‘Googled’ but with no luck.

Thanks!

Found a whole rebuild kit at Andy Bernbaum's plus a Manifold Hardware Kit to replace all my rusted out bolts!!  Thanks to all for the help!!

I also have the kit from Bernbaum but found that the spring in my kit is a plain spring, not thermostatic at all. Try applying a cigarette lighter to the spring you have, it should start to tighten the coil immediately. If it does not move, it is not the right one.

Don, I thank you for thinking of me. I had been using the spring from a large thermometer with some success, but one day I heard a funny noise like I had run over something and noticed several days later that the weight and the spring were both gone. O well, the search goes on.

I also appreciate your spelling my name correctly. I know its wrong, but I didn't have anything to do with it.
