The above book was published in 1953 by Wm. H. Wise & Co. It is a very well written book with a lot of practical information for maintenance and repair of cars of that period, which of course means ours. As well as a lot of fascinating information and statistics (in 1953 there was still one state that didn't require a driver's license to operate a car). Very common book so easy to find.There were some later editions but I imagine the 1953 would be best, though the 53 is the only one I have seen.
