Paul Hatfield Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 Here is a better shot of the rear bumper. Please let me know if it could be the same as a dealer or factory installed rear bumper. It sure seems to match the construction (thickness of metal), and styling of the front. Paul Quote
B1B Keven Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Yep, mid to late '50's Dodge truck bumper. Not correct for the B series trucks. Quote
Paul Hatfield Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 Can you show me a photo of a correct bumper? In the parts book I see part number 590 659 on page 13-12 but I'd like to see a pic of it. Thanks for your help Keven. Paul Quote
Paul Hatfield Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) Just for what it's worth.... Attached are a couple of photos of the brackets that came with the bumper. I still have my "home made" on on the truck, but the brackets appear to line up to a straight "bolt on" to the frame holes and to the bumper. Also got a bracket to attach the front license plate to the front bumper- at least that's what I think it is. A truck completely dismantled and in boxes takes a while to sort out.
