Brad Lustig Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Finally had some spare time that coincided with decent weather to work on a few parts to bring back to the Dodge to get it going. I have a brand new looking intake and exhaust manifold ready to put on. I repaired my electric choke, brazed some threads onto the manifold to hold it in place. I've got pretty much everything to put the brakes back together but I noticed one of the felt washers that go in the metal cup has disintegrated. Anyone have a source or suitable replacement? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Brad..go to the arts and craft store..buy a bit of felt..cut you a narrow band for the cup..you may have to double it up but should more than do the job for lubing the pivot pin...it does not have to be original to function...and trying to get one may keep you off the road longer than you wish.. Brad Lustig Posted March 16, 2014 Author Report Posted March 16, 2014 I'm pretty sure they sell a deer in a headlight Quote
Niel Hoback Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 But it will be made in China like everything else they sell. Quote
