addes426 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Hi folks. I'm looking at a trade where I'll end up with a 46 Dodge truck, flathead 6, 4 spd. While trying to see what I was getting into before I got into it, this site came up in my Google search. I thought I might like to keep the 6 and just sweeten it some. I figured a site like this could be an asset. I didn't see a section for intros so I just posted here. Hope that works. Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Welcome and good luck on the trade. This webpage has several forums that are somewhat topic specific. You have posted in the car forum. If you click on the forum link on the above toolbar all forums will be displayed. I suggest you post this information in the truck forum as not all truck owners read the car forum. What part of WV do you live in? Quote
Young Ed Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 As Don said the truck side is the more proper area for a truck posting but otherwise welcome to the site. You may find your thread gets moved to the truck area too. The truck side is technically 48-53 but there are a few of us with 39-47s and a few 54-56s etc. Here's my 46. Its in storage for winter right now but this is about what it would look like if I had it home now. 2 Quote

Young Ed Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 OK, thanks. Sucks to be the new guy. LOL Meh just jump in. Post a picture of this truck. With a 4spd it could still be a 1/2 ton but I think its more likely to be a 3/4 or bigger. Quote
