hey all ordered a new MC and front brake hoses from Rock Auto, Raybestos, hopefully US built and Dorman chinese brake hoses. The master was $93, hoses were $7 a piece.

I have to reverse the lid on the master,so the fill cap lines up with access hole in truck floor, anyone else have to do this?.....

I told a particular Online Mopar parts store, but somehow the message didn't make it to China.  I flipped mine after I installed it. but missed my opportunity to give the MC the few coats of epoxy paint it deserved.

You usually have to flip the six bolt the cover to put the fill plug in the proper front or rear easiest fill position. I Just did the this for a 31 CD8 Chrysler a few months ago. The seller won't do it for you unless they have lots of free time on their hands! :)

Those prices seem really good compared to some auto stores here in Canada. I need to order some brake parts for my Fargo and was thinking about Rock Auto. Did you have to pay duty to get the parts across the border?

Hi Bob, yes flipped it around, the MC is made in the USA, the good part about it.

Nope, no duty, I have a US address, along the border, this time, no GST/PST was applied, bonus....PS no duty on goods made in NA, but GST/PST for your province.

Thanks, great to know.

When I ordered parts for my truck from RockAuto, I had the parts shipped to a member in the US and then he repackaged them and sent them to me. After I sent him the postage using PayPal it was still less than 1/2 the cost of getting RockAuto to ship them direct to me.

I ship directly to Mikes Parcel Pickup at Pembina ND, which is 1 hour south of here, they charge $5 each shipment, I either go, or many others where i work do the same, and they pick it up and bring it to me. Living in the  border towns would be so convenient...
