Just thought I'd let you know I am still working on the old truck.  I made a plate for the hole where the gas tank filler comes through the cab.  As far back as I can remember there was just a piece of rubber and it was glued to the floor, and long ago the glue quit holding.  It looked to me like originally there was a plate over the rubber, so I made one.  Is what I created ok? or similar to original?

Hank, I'm getting around to the other clamp :)

Jeff, I need to go check on the engine. I haven't been able to go by in about 3 weeks. Last time I was there the new block was being shipped. Inch by inch. I am getting closer to a running beast.

Varmit proofing was important, they made a nest out of the old seat while it sat fot 30 years waitingfor me to bring her back to life.
