I'm in the process of doing a fairly complete restoration of my 1948 D24.  I need to remove the wiper switch in order to complete the work on the dash.  It seems like I would use a tool (spanning wrench) in the two holes in the bezel and unscrew the bezel - but it's not wanting to turn and I don't want to break it.  Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  The shop manual isn't much help with this.

Thanks

Thank you for the link to the tools.  I guess my main question is whether the bezel unscrews or the switch comes out some other way.  If I can verify that the bezel is meant to unscrew then I could buy one of these tools (I think a different one from the same site).  But if it doesn't unscrew and I twist it, I'll end up with a broken switch - that's what I'm trying to avoid.

Does it look like something the tools made by Eric over on the truck side would work for you: http://p15-d24.com/topic/24720-dash-cableswitch-knob-tool-ignition-switch-tool-and-more/?hl=%2Bdash+%2Bknob+%2Btool

Those tools are sweet! ... Thanks for posting a reminder for us newer guys.
