blackp7coupe Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 The headlight switch on my P7 coupe has gone bad. There's a bezel that apparently holds the shaft of the switch in place. How I remove the bezel to get the switch out? I want to replace it with an original switch. Thanks in advance for your help. Quote

blackp7coupe Posted August 8, 2013 Author Report Posted August 8, 2013 Desotodav, thanks for posting the link. My problem is not the knob, i have that off. My question is about getting the switch out. I'm used to seeing switches with nuts on a threaded shaft or a button on the switch that releases the shaft. This switch has a bezel on the shaft. How do i get the bezel loose? Is there a tool i need to remove the bezel on the shaft? Quote
Desotodav Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Bezel removal tools are available from Eric (Townwagon)... http://p15-d24.com/topic/28758-new-videos-showing-how-my-tools-work/?hl=%2Bbezel+%2Btool#entry287304 . Quote
blackp7coupe Posted August 9, 2013 Author Report Posted August 9, 2013 It looks like Eric's tools only fit Dodge trucks. The bezel (nut) on my '39 Plymouth has a different configuration. I scoured e-pay and the only removal tools there are for later model MOPARs..... Quote
