50 Windsor Steele Rubber Gaskets?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any review of the front and rear window gaskets? I need some for my 50 Windsor but I know there were fitment issues with the A-body (67-76 dart gaskets) not fitting at all. Anyone else sell them? Mine does have the chrome trim that snaps onto the gasket.

unfortunately you may find yourself at the mercy of Steele..often they are sole source and it is a sad feeling to be held hostage...sometimes you can find another maker of these items...do a e-bay seach for possible other suppliers...best market to probe at this time...I did not see any but they may only list these occasionally...

appears to be Steele:  40-0341-50 (1950 Chrys/Dodge/Desoto 4 door and club coupe with reveal mldg) fits both 49-50 model years (was 156.00 in 2006 catalog) with this number you can check current price online or call them direct for fit and price, my best suggestion is to call first......

I can't a review of Steele Rubber gaskets for your 50 but I can for my 48 d24. I bought two different cheaper rear window gaskets from other sources and was not pleased with them.

The rear window gasket I got from Steele fit perfectly. Cost a little more but well worth it to me.
