Hi all, long time no post for me but I have been driving my 48 D24 regularly. Recently my driver side front door stopped latching. (See attached photo). There are no parts cars in my area. Where can I get replacements for the worn parts? Please help! Thanks in advance.

Todd..your latch/catch appears good usually these get the pawl broken off...the rotor can be replaced but I have found a number of time that the locking pawls to the rotor inside the mechanism has dried grease and thus not moving into their detent proper..you may want to first try to clean this good and relube...

Hi All!  Good to hear from all of you!  Tim, I used some penetrating lube on the rotor and pawl and it is latching much better but not every time.  I will take it apart, clean it and fill it with fresh grease and see what happens.  If you look at the first photo you will see the ledge that the door rides on at the top middle of the picture. It is almost worn through to the rivit.  Anyone have an extra one of these around?  Also, trying to figure out why this part would wear in this way.  Bent Hinge?  How would i adjust the door to prevent this from happening?

My car is a four door, Brian. The latches are the same on opposite corners as Tim pointed out.

Don, that was a few years ago and my engine was still on a pallet on the floor when you were there.  Bob Van B. helped me install it last year and his son helped me get the tranny in.  Here:

is a short video of me driving her down the road at about 50 mph last October.  In the distance you can see Bob Van B's plymouth.  It was my first road trip with the Dodge.  We went up near Lafayette, IN with the local Plymouth club to see a blacksmith demonstration which was quite interesting.  It rained on the way back and my windshield wipers stopped working.  Rainex helped out.
