Grunk2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 If there is anyone that can help me with this. I found two bolts or studs that is sticking up from the rear floor board at the front two corners of the rear seat. There about 1 1/2 high. what are these for. If i can get good pictures i will send them. Quote
garbagestate 44 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 They don't look factory to me. Sombody drilled holes and added them later most likely.Maybe the running boards were loose. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) Is there anything under the car being held up by those bolts?? Edge of the rocker panel or some such........seems kinda odd they were put in from underneath and are thru the rubber sill/step plate. How does the rear door fit... could they have been stops to keep it from rattling or something? Edited December 10, 2012 by BobT-47P15 Quote
Mike Petersen Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 They are not OEM. I have same car been in family since new. Quote
littlemo Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Could they have been used to keep the rear seat from slipping forward ??? Cass, alias littlemo .. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I cannot think of a single reason for a bolt to be position there and in that fashion..what is beneath the floor? Quote
