Is this installed in an early pilot cab pick up? Because of the flat firewall it appears not to be a car, if it is a pick up then you did not need a Fat Man front clip just a MII cross member and components. After looking closer at the picture of the carbs and firewall from the right side of the vehicle it appears to be a early 30s car, am I right?

James, I used fat mans crossmember, but had the rest of the front end parts laying around. 1935 Dodge bus coupe

I here about all these trans adaptors being used, but no-one has ever posted a good shot of the fabbed brackets to mount the adaptor to the oem motor mount pads...would love to see that someday as to how folks did it...not harping at you about this Bewillie..just saying in general, it'd be nice to see how it was accomplished per any given application.

There are enough variations in rear mounts that it will be left to a good fabricator (several lurk around here) to find the best solution and that might not include the stock location.

One of the reasons I use steel for my trans adapters is to hopefully be of use to the rear mount issue. It is fat enough to allow for drilling and tapping into the sides for attaching mounts if needed.
