Looks like it's coming along! Floors are the pits. Stay on them until they're finished; it's a big step to get out of the way and you'll feel good about the project when all your floors and rockers are solid. What engine is that?

its a ford 302 ya with a gm HEI Dist.. lol...via speedway no blue box.. not really a ford man ..though i have an 04 f-250.. i`m using it mainly because i have it and i know it runs good.. will have an automatic behind it. I will be custom making motor mounts that bolt to the front and weld to the frame with puck style mounts..thus there is not a lot of room between the exhaust and the stock steering box.. Hoping i don`t have to cut the fire wall out.. Ive ask on here about the radiator (was missing when got car) and it sounds like it dose not go in the support? i have also read about moving it to the front side? So when i get the radiator and the trans i will know how little room i have...planing to use electric fan also to give me more room..

Most V8 swaps in these cars need the radiator mounted to the front of the support for clearance, each swap is different though, yours may not need this. To mount the radiator to the front of the support isn't that difficult, all you have to do is unbolt the fenders and splash pans (inner fenders) from the support, unbolt the support from the chassis, turn it around and your done. If however you dont want to mess with potentially frozen 65 yr old bolts just drill 4 holes into the front side of the support lined up with the original nut-serts and mount the radiator with nuts and bolts..
