unfortunately the period of cars you describe is pretty much across the board for recycle...the cars today are 'throw away' by design... the bodies hold up better than the all plastic interior...once these plastic panels start their decay..well there is no real way of stopping it that I am aware of and still have the look of the car when built. I am sure a few cars will have these panels repop'ed but that is the only slavation to the later model cars..the aftermarket industry and the general following these cars had during their heyday is the driving force behind what cars will carry forth out of this period. If it is not economical feasible to make these panels and sell in great number..the model dies..
