BobT-47P15
Similar to this 1946 Buick............ Rattlesnake D -- your car looks cool, man.
Ed Griffin
That thing is a water cooler. You put water in it or ice water and the front catches the air through a large hole. The water trickles through a screen and air blows through it and into the car. They work great in a no humidity area but not very useful if humidity is in the air. We used something similar in the Mojave desert and it really worked well in the dry air. Those were called swamp coolers.
BobT-47P15
I guess nobody has taken note of the number of spotlights, either real or dummy, on the ebay car..............
Mark D
All that stainless added... and the fender welting is left as black rubber... missed opportunity...lol
Phil Martin
Didn't plymouth have side trim like that on 1942 model?

BobT-47P15
Not that much trim on a 42............. '47 Chevy.......now we be talking trim...........
Robert Smith
Actually, I believe that was the only the '47- '48 Fleatmasters that had the heavy trim treatment with the rear skits. The '42 Plymouth's had just a little extra trim than the post war models. I think some of you guys are thinking '42 Chrysler! http://www.flickr.com/photos/49024304@N00/298075222/ As for the ePay car, it has those phony Appleton spotlights and a real spot light, along with all the typical Chevy accents. I think someone really wanted a '47-'48 Chevy. But, I must admit that I like the stainless trim on that, it really delivers well with the black paint.
