Going to have spare time today and the electrician friend of mine is coming over and we'll check'er out... Good point Carlos about the switch, I recall when I had my '46 some times the trunk brake lite would remain on, then I'd have to jiggle the brake peddle and it would turn off. I'd replace the brake switch then it behaved correctly.

Don, good thing my radio in the Dodge doesn't work and that I have no turn signals. :P

Yep. Once I get the car wired up I can test the brakes on my car too I went to Napa to pick up my pump today and need to return it as it is damaged. Quite a pump! Gotta have a good one though.

Well, just had the radiator flushed out and the hoses replaced! The rust inside the hoses was really bad! She should be running on the cooler side now! :D

Also, I spied a motor on ebay a guy is selling out of a '39 Plymouth. It looks more complete than my current motor in the Dodge and the starting bid is $99. It mentioned a rebuild and that it runs smooth, it's being replaced by a beefier motor for performance purposes. It's in Iowa, any idea what the freighting would be on a 201 6 cylinder to Monrovia? I sent the seller a message with inquires about the motor so, I'll see what I hear back.

Well, have driven the car around some this week, she's doing ok. I drove it out to Corona CA from Monrovia a few weeks ago, I noticed a trail of white/blueish smoke as I accelerated and maintained a cruising speed of 40+ This happens when the car is running warm and after driving for 30+ minutes. The motor sounds a little louder after it warms up.

I did win an auction for the rear grab rope for the back of the front seat with the hardware, also the two small clips for the top and bottom of the center windshield trim.

I have to take photos soon of the things I've done to the car to compare with the older photos.
