DCurrent Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I had looked to see if Vintage power wagons carries the spring and looks like they don't have it. Their catolog only lists the valve and shaft. Any ideas for another source for the spring? I was wondering if anyone had experimented with using a cable to control the valve? Thanks as always, Darren Quote
garbagestate 44 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I guess that would work as long as you always remember to close it once the engine warmed up. Quote
TodFitch Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Antique Auto Cellar, also doing business as Then and Now Automotive will have the springs as well as other parts for the heat riser. Quote
aero3113 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I have read that some guys used a outdoor thermometer spring. Quote
