Rodney Bullock Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 I will be going to York PA Friday to meet The Shrock Brothers. They have some plastic knobs for my Studebaker. My Studebaker will be at the DC Armory show. I will be dropping the steering mask off with them. They are going to reproduce some for me. Last chance to get one. Jim sent me one for his car (1941) I removed my steering column mask today ( 2 hours) 1940 I will have them make 2 for me and I will get jim one. Quote
Jim Yergin Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Rodney, Thanks very much but I don't need one. I have a good original on my car. I just sent the other one to you in case you or someone else could use it. Jim Yergin Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted March 3, 2012 Author Report Posted March 3, 2012 This years meet was one of the greatest I have ever seen there were so many cars that I had to take my time to see them all. I met with the shrock brother and gave them the core steering column seals and they had a surprize for me. I set of new heater control knobs. They looked wonderful. The cars were so nice and the parts pre war and post war. I had such a great time talking to the folks and swaping stories. This years raffle car is to dye for. They had Studebaker truck parts galore. We picked up alot of parts and some things I did not need but just wanted. I must drive my car next year. There I was having a great time and my car is at the DC Armory 263 miles away. I will spend time at that show this morning. This has been an action packed week end for me:) Quote
Oldguy48 Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Rodney, Thanks for posting those pics. Beautiful vehicles all. More, more, we want to see more. Wayne Quote

I had to stop myself from getting a ticket because my space is limited for inside storage. This car was dynomite in everyway. All most as good as mine:) Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 What was the ticket cost and who was the winner? Beautiful car! Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 The tickets are one for ten dollars. This drawing will be held at next years York show. They raffled off a 1955 speedster this year. Which was last years start off car. look at the car next to it that's the speedster it's black and white. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 that car could very well be the twin to the one my unlce bought for my aunt..his daily was a golden hawk, her daily a red hawk as pictured..then for the road trip machine, a 58 Packard Hawk..as we lived on a dirt road and he was a city clicker..the Packard I only recall making one trip to the country.. With your luck you could be a winner. Quote
