grady hawkins Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 I am running a 1954 Ply 230 engine in my d-24 1947 and i would like to replace the carb with a Carter Dodge Model " D-60" 1956 carb number 2296s or 2382s but have been unable to locate one. Any one know of the where abouts of one of these carbs?? Quote

I remember I paid $25.00 for a brand new Carter BBS in 1970 or 71 for a 58 plymouth flathead! I still have it on my 51 plymouth. They have a bigger throttle plate bore than the B&B carbs. Bob Quote
