I am still searching for a source of a respectable floor mat for my B1B. What did you gents who have completed restorations use? Surely to goodness there must be a logical source of this stuff around somewhere. It only takes a 3 x 5 foot slice of whateverl Any suggestions?

Thanks

Dave, this is probably of no help to you but about 8 years ago I got a NOS one from Frank Mitchell Motor Parts. I think I paid $160 for it. At the time I almost didn't buy it because of the cost but now I'm so glad I did.

You might check with Frank at http://www.mmpar.com/mmpars/default.aspx who knows you might get lucky and he'll have another one still available.

Other than that I think Roberts sells something that works. Can't comment on quality though as I've not seen one to know what they look like.

Good luck!

When I purchased my B3B there was a new floor mat in a box. I kept the label just in case and it was from Roberts.

The mat was a great fit. I was very surprized with the end result. I recall only a two cuts had to be made for the 4 speed and gas peddle mount.

Gary,

Thanks for the help. Guess I'll get one from Roberts. I remember threads from time past where guys complained that what he sells was just yard goods with a constant pattern, and not the original type with a border, etc., but beggars can't be choosers, and that's about what I'm down to here.

Again, thanks
