Booker T Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 I'm glad you did not shy out - I really like the cool style of your Savoy. I agree with you no need to over spray the genuine patina. The scallops make the top of the cherry - Very stylish! Also looks like you are having fun with the car. All the right hop up ingredients added. You may be a soul mate with our Capt.Fred of Berlin. Last but not least: Seems that one stunning beautiful lady has lurked in you garage to catch attention on the last picture... Lucky bastard you? Thanks for the kind words. And I do consider myself quite lucky...from the lady to the shop at my disposal that my friend has 1 mile away from where I live. I have really enjoyed working on this car over the last few years. We have also had 2 46 chevy trucks, a 27 Model T Roadster, 66 Ford truck and a 31 Model A Sports Couple in the shop during that time. And now I am just beginning work on my 61 Ford Unibody! I also still have quite a list of things that I still want to do to my Savoy...some that will have to wait due to the $$$ (interior mainly). The rest of the stuff I will be posting on this forum (and using the search function) to ask questions over the next few weeks! Quote
