Find out if they could make a clock face for a speedo, based on the speedo number style. I wanted to turn a spare speedo into a clock to put in the speaker hole, but vinyl sign shop that I always used has closed and they moved out of state. She was really good at that sort of thing.

I'm willing to pay, within reason.

Question for you... how difficult was it to remove the gauge cluster?? I need to remove mine and refinish it like you've done, but it seems a little tricky to remove.

How is the oil pressure line removed? Does it unscrew right behind the gauge?

The temp gauge has a thermometer in the engine block, I assume that has to be removed from the engine and pulled through the firewall?

Yes, the guages come out pretty easily. I had to undo the oil pressure line under the hood in order to pull the cluster far enough out of the dash to get access to the back of the guages. The oil line unscrews from the back of the gauge. Be carefull with the end of the thermometer line when pulling it through the firewall!

The biggest problem I had was with the 'rivetts' that held the face plate and glass to the guage housing. I had to drill the face off each rivett to get them apart. If you don't need to clean and repaint the metal face that is right behind the glass, you don't need to worry about this step. If you do, you will have fun finding something to hold this thing back together! I was able to find some eylets at a hardware store and with some jerry rigging got it back together and looked good!

I could...... but the first few would be kinda costly because the type face is not available and would have to be re-created. I'm talking way up there in the $50 neighborhood.

What size rivetts did you use? Not sure if it's 3/16" or 1/4".
