1940plymouth Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 This morning being that the temp was 89 degrees, I dressed up in my Santa outfit to be foolish on a hot July morning. I drove up to the store, Post Office, Bank and beauty salon, got the sort of remarks that I expected and lots of laughs and smiles, then I drove down to the shop where my son works, he just smiled as he wasn't surprised that I would do something like that. One of his co-workers said that his wife's daycare theme for this week was Christmas in July, so we drove down to the daycare, you should have seen the look on the little one's faces when I walked in the door, PRICELESS Quote
littlemo Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Hey, Santa has to be somewhere in the summer !!! Quote
Robert Horne Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Bob, what kind of medication are you taking? It is really just too hot to ride around in red PJs. Quote
Don Coatney Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 This was so much fun we all got to read it twice. Once on this thread and then again on another thread word for word. This morning on a lark' date=' I dressed up in my Santa outfit, drove up to the store, Post Office, Bank and beauty salon, got lots of smiles and laughs, which I was looking for as it is 90 degrees here right now, then I drove down to the shop where my son works, got the expects razzles, then one of the workers whose wife owns a day care, told me that this weeks theme at the day care was Christmas In July, so went drove down to the day care, you should have seen the looks on the little kids faces when I walked in, PRICELESS, my foolishness was well worth the looks on thier little faces[/quote'] Quote

randroid Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Bob, That was great! What started as almost a practical joke turned out to be a very generous gesture on your part and that's what makes it fun. Now one last question; did you make a miniature sleigh filled with candy for Cooper to haul? -Randy Quote
